Empathy for and Tolerance of Your

Partner’s Differences• You will be most successful if you and your partner

demonstrate the strength to stay focused• Your partner’s grade depends on you as well. Have the

integrity to contribute your share. • Your partner may have different skills. Be tolerant of

his/her weakness and work to maximize your collective strengths.

• Demonstrate responsibility by attending class regularly, getting to class on time, and working while here.

Empathy for the Facilitator

• My goal is to help you be successful. Most of the time I will be running all over the lab helping your peers with challenging engagements. I can’t help them if I am dealing with your poor behavior choices.

• Demonstrate integrity, be responsible with the equipment, seek knowledge, and we will get along fine.
