    Row 1: SSP, transfer remaining st back to left needle, pass second st on left needle over first st (3 sts decreased to 1 st).Then work in this remaining st as follows: *K1 and leave original st on left needle, transfer new st back to left needle, k thetransferred new st again (forming a new st on right needle); drop the transferred st from the left needle and keep the originalst in place on the left needle.     Note 1: When increasing in pattern, a Lace Panel (LP) should be added every time there are 6 sts between the last LP and theedge sts or center sts. Edge sts are defined as the [inc 1] at the beginning of the row and the [k1, p1] at the end of the row.Center sts are the [inc 1] at the center of each row.

    Note 2: When decreasing in pattern, discontinue working a LP when there are not enough sts to work the full 3-stitch panel,and knit these sts instead. For example, if there are only 2 sts left before a [k2tog] or [p2tog], but the pattern as set woulddictate that a LP should be worked, k the 2 sts instead.

    Note 3: There should always be 3 knit stiches between LPs.

    Repeat this row for about 14"/35.5cm or until wrap fits around shoulder, measured from the beginning of the panel at neck(point at top of triangle). End at neck edge.

    Step 3: First triangular tie with center decreasesCount the number of sts on your needle. Using Knitted Cast-on Method, cast on an additional number of stitches equal to thosealready on the needle. Work across all sts as follows:Row 1: K to last st of added group, k2tog (combining last added st with first previous st), PM, k to last 2 sts, p2tog.

    Row 2: Sl 1, k to marker, RM, k2tog, PM, k to last 2 sts, p2tog.Row 3: S1, work LP as established to marker, RM, k2tog, PM, k to last 2 sts, p2tog.Repeat Row 2 and 3, maintaining LP until only 4 sts remain.Bind off all sts. Cut yarn and weave in ends.

    Step 4: Second side panelTransfer sts from holder and attach yarn to neck edge. Work to correspond to first side panel, following Step 2 directions.

    Step 5: Second triangular tieWork to correspond to first triangular tie, following Step 3 directions.

    FINISHINGOn each side of garment, fold front tie forward along shoulder line, forming sleeve area at side edge. Be sure to get acomfortable fit for you, keeping the back area flat; then sew the underarm edges together for at least 3"/7.5cm to form thesleeves. The wider the side panels are, the longer the sleeve seam should be to f it well under the arms.
