AAN Data Center: status

• Up to Year 2000: on line and published as CD-ROMs

• Year 2001 data: quality check, on line to be soon, and CD-ROMs in May of 2004

Study Targets(1) Surface Fluxes/Processes

• 1-D model validation and study of land-surface atmosphere interaction with AAN data sets

• Comparison of the AAN flux data with GAME Reanalysis product (together w/GEWB group)

• Comparative study of surface fluxes over the Asian Monsoon region with AAN data set

Study Targets(2) ABL Processes

• ABL process study with the data set of surface flux/ABL/remote sensing obtained at EGAT Tower　 in Thailand

• ABL study with the GAME-Siberia turbulence measurements with airplane

• ABL studies with linkage to clouds and precipitation processes.
