Large Wheel Installation

• Helped with initial installation in 2005

• Installed EML and EMS chambers in sector frame.

• Last chamber installed 31 October 2006

• Diagnosed and developed procedure for fixing potential o-ring leaks in EMS chamber cut-outs. Scheduled replacement of EPDM with Viton o-rings.

Small Wheel• Tooling for Phase 1.9 and Installation

– Modify Rotator Cart, with Marta and C. Weaverdyck, for Photogrammetry and Installation (especially for EIL.2-3 chambers)

– Use of Harvard lifting tool for de-crating BMC EI chambers– Create a Usage & Procedures manual, for above, and train

dedicated personnel – Modify 20mm EM chamber verticalizer for use with 12 mm EI

chambers• Coordinate/Organize Phase 1.9

– Update and modify traveler tasks for EI chambers– Compile Phase 1 information for Phase 1.9 – Develop file structure for database update– Ensure integration of Boston temperature sensors

• Understand Small wheel installation in Building 191– Space allocation and transport of chambers to 191– Develop procedure and assemble crew for chamber installation

• Commissioning small wheel with cosmic rays

• Helped Integrate new BU people at CERN• Photograph and document activities in Building

180, 190 and 191• W cross section analysis, working with Di-

boson group (Bing Zhou)• Small wheel Commissioning

– DAQ for EIS and EIL chambers– Integrate MDT with CSC and TGC trigger– Final cosmic ray analysis before/after installation
