Bob Banta from The Scorpions finished the

day 3-for-3 with a triple, three RBI and a run

scored.

Quentin Schamber (The Scorpions) went 3-

for-3 with a double.

Larry Merfeld of the Dragon Slayers had

four RBI, going 2-for-3 with a double, two

runs and a walk.

Andy Isberg collected three singles, going 3-

for-4 with three RBI and a run.

Gary Bloom and John Miret for Frazier’s

Heaters combined to go 4-for-6 with a

double, two RBI and two runs.

Steve Foster earned the win for the Dragon

Slayers by tossing 5.0 shutout innings and

giving up four hits, while striking out four.

Over a six-year Major League career, Sullivan played with the Colorado Rockies (2005-

08), New York Mets (2009) and the Houston Astros (2010)

On April 9, 2006, Sullivan became only the 11th player in history to triple twice in the

same inning Professional:

He made his Major League debut on April 4, 2005.

In his rookie season, he played in 139 games and hit .294 (111-for-378) with 15

doubles, 4 triples, 4 home runs, 30 RBI and 64 runs while playing all three outfield

positions.

Over his career, he hit .271 (305-for-1127) with 50 doubles, 22 triples, 10 home runs, 97

RBI and 156 runs in 476 games. Personal:

Born on August 20, 1979 in Tulsa, OK and played at Wake Forest University.

He shares a birthday with former Colorado Rockies' teammate Todd Helton.

Sullivan was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 7th round of the 2001 First-Year Player Draft.

Served as one of the bullpen catchers in the NL pen during the 1998 All-Star Game

Served on the National League All-Star coaching staff in 2008 at Yankee Stadium

Begins his first year as the Roving Catching Instructor after Coaching on the Major League Staff of the Pittsburg Pirates from 2010-2012

Professional: Spent almost his entire 9 year playing career in the Rockies Minor League system. His big league action came as a September call-up in 1998 with appearances in 4 games.

Personal: Resides in Highlands Ranch, CO; Mark and his wife, Katie have two children.

Played in the Majors for nine season with the Chicago White Sox (2001), Pittsburgh

Pirates (2002-05), Colorado Rockies (2006-07, 2009) and the Cincinnati Reds (2008).

Was 10-9 with a 4.94 ERA in 30 games/29 starts for the 2007 Colorado Rockies that

went to the World Series

Professional:

He made his Major League debut on September 2, 2001 for the White Sox and wound

up appearing in 11 games that season

Finished seventh in the 2002 NL Rookie of the Year voting after going 12-12 with a

4.35 ERA in 33 starts for the Pittsburgh Pirates

In his career, he went 62-69 with a 5.03 ERA over a span of 243 games, 194 starts.

Personal:

Fogg was born in Lynn, Massachusetts in 1976

Played college baseball for the University of Florida

Was originally drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 3rd round of the 1998 June

draft.

Josh Fogg, Fantasy Camp Alum Former Professional Pitcher

Castilla played for 6 Major League teams in his carreer – Atlanta Braves (91-92, 02-03, Colorado Rockies (93-99,04,06), Tampa Bay (00-01), Houston Astros (01), Washington Nationals (05) and the Padres (06).

Inducted into the Latino baseball Hall of Fame in early 2014 Professional:

Castilla was a member of the original “Blake Street Bombers” with Andres Galarraga, Dante Bichette, and Larry Walker

Vinny was selected in the 1992 expansion draft by the Colorado Rockies

Was named NL All-Star team twice in 1995 and 1998

Won the Silver Slugger award in 1995, 1997, and 1998

Remains top 10 in many offensive categories for the Rockies

Returned to the Rockies after spending time in Tampa Bay, Atlanta, Washington and San Diego to retire with the Club in 2006

Personal:

Resides in Littleton, CO. Born in Oaxaca, Mexico

Camp Photos! New this year! Every Fantasy Camper will receive a Photo Thumb Drive from our official team photographers. Your custom thumb drive will have all the digital files taken of you both on and off the field throughout the week. As part of the package, you will also receive your team photo, an all camp photo, and a custom set of baseball cards with an image of your choosing. Make sure to pick your baseball card photo by the end of the week!

Tonight’s Festivities

This evening will be our Fantasy Camp Home Clubhouse reception with Hors d’oeuvres & Drinks from 3:00 PM- 5:00 PM in the Rockies Clubhouse. New to 2015, the Home Clubhouse reception will now be an All-Camp Reception. This will give you the opportunity to mingle with fellow campers and either share stories from over 17 years of Fantasy Camp or learn more about the new campers.

Free time?

There are several things to keep your evenings occupied here in lovely Scottsdale. Check out Downtown Scottsdale's Art and Shopping Districts, at Fashion Square, The Borgata, or Kierland Commons. Or immerse yourself in local and native culture at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, Phoenix Art Museum, the Heard Museum, or Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesen West.

Scottsdale also has two casinos that are just minutes away from the resort. Contact the bell desk to arrange a taxi. The view from the top of the Talking Stick Resort and Casino is one of the best in Arizona!

If you are looking for a bit of family fun, look into the McCormick/Stillman Railroad Park or the Phoenix Zoo.
