By the end of these courses, you will have a better understanding of basic French. Emphasis will be placed on oral skills through subject-related discussions. Intermediate Level In these courses, you will learn how to express yourself in daily activities in the past, present and future tenses using basic vocabulary related to work, social, business and home situations. At the completion of these courses, you will be able to participate with ease in almost any conversation. Advanced Level Upon successful completion of these courses, you will be able to understand and communicate (orally and in writing) a wide such as expressing intentions and formulating compromise, expressing possibility, formulating a wish and a hope. Conversational Level This course provides you with an opportunity to practice conversational skills for presentations, group discussions, seminars, or in more spontaneous conversation situations while in structured environments. Other Conversational French Courses In these courses, students use their grammar and speaking skills in a conversation setting. This is a great opportunity to practice and improve on face-to-face conversation. Contact North | Contact Nord is a distance education and training network that provides its services across Ontario. Courses are given in real time, which allows communication between students and teachers through audioconferencing, videoconferencing or the Internet. Students can participate either by attending an online learning centre in the community or on a computer at home. Program Code: FRSL Credentials: Collège Boréal Certificate This program consists of 10 courses providing an English-speaking person with the necessary knowledge for integration into a francophone environment. The participant will develop skills to communicate effectively in French in a work or a social environment.
