Microsoft Maths is like having your own personal maths tutor! It allows you to develop confidence and skills to quickly and accurately solve many mathematical and scientific equations. There are lots of ways to use Microsoft Maths in your classrooms:
Create data charts from
information that the students have collected relating to their inquiry topics such as local rainfall or temperature charts
Create visual representation of ideas using
‘shape creator’
Create coordinates and graphing activities.
OneNote is part of the Microsoft
Office suite. It is a simple-to-use notetaking
and information-management
program that allows individuals or teams
of students to capture ideas and
information in electronic form. It has
been described as electronic version of
the familiar three-ring binder with lots of
tabs!
There are lots of ways to use
OneNote in your classrooms:
Create student digital portfolios
Organise information collected for a research
project
As part of a jigsaw activity, teams of students
investigate and gather specific information to
complete a task as a whole class or group.
