HISTORY AND ACHIEVEMENTS

La Doble Ayuda Non-Profit Organization was founded in early 2006 as a

spin-off of Tachame La Doble Motorbike Association. It aims to help rural

school children that live in far away areas that its members reach riding

their motorcycles.

In July 2006 La Doble Ayuda got in touch with School 14, Julián Aguirre,

Cuchilla Redonda, Alarcón County in Entre Ríos province, Argentina. La

Doble Ayuda started gathering

sneakers, clothes, food, music

players and the wiring for their

computer room and in August the

members of this non-profit

organization rode their

motorbikes and personally

delivered the donations. A dentist

joined them and offered a

prevention talk to teachers and

students.

During those first months after its foundation La Doble Ayuda raised funds

through the informal support of some of its members.

In November 2006 they visited School

14 again and over a weekend they

revamped both the kitchen and the school

cafeteria. The water pump electrical

interrupter was installed and the windows

broken glasses as well as all the water

piping were changed.

By the end of November 2006 funds were raised more formally through a

monthly fee paid both by members of La Doble Ayuda Non-Profit

Organization and by individual donors and corporations who joined their

efforts.

During 2007 School 14 continued receiving donations, such as heaters and

electrical interrupters as well as the wiring for the correct electrical

installation of the whole building.

School 14 was visited again in October 2007 and

ceiling fans in all the

rooms, changed the

water tank and

repaired all the

walls, both inside

and outside.

In March 2008 La Doble Ayuda took the school supplies and books that the

teachers and students would need for the whole year and left food and

clothes for the first half of the school year.

La Doble Ayuda decided to start helping two other schools also located in

the Argentine province of Entre Ríos - School 33 San Lorenzo and School

42 Luis N. Palma-, both in Crucesitas VIII, Nogoyá County, Entre Ríos

province.

In May 2008 rain boots both for the students

and maintenance staff were shipped to the

three schools and the members of La Doble

Ayuda took warm clothes, heaters,

computers

and books to

the two

schools in

Nogoyá. The Association decided to revamp

School 42 cafeteria.

As more supporters were gathered, La Doble Ayuda began the paperwork

to obtain the legal status to become a non-profit organization.

Thanks to the generosity of one of its members who lends a house, La

Doble Ayuda has its own head office.

students and teachers of several

schools of the area.

broaden the scope of their

assistance beyond the three

schools they regularly

supported and decided to help a

fourth school in the same

In March 09 the four schools received food for the first half of the school

year as well as school supplies for students and teachers for the whole

school year.

Due to the fact that School 14 water was polluted and had become toxic, a

new dug well was constructed, an automatic water pump installed and the

water tank changed in March 09.

Additionally, a large group of the

Association members visited School 74

over the long weekend of May 1 through

managed to install a new electrical

system with external piping, an electrical

board, an interrupter and circuit breaker,

the school's outdoor lights, the water

tank new piping, bathroom fixtures,

shower and water heater,

kitchen cooker, counter and

sink, new outdoor faucets and

the well water pump faucets.

They also fixed the water

pump's electrical system and

waterproofed the roof and the

bathroom walls.

On May 26, 2009 La Doble Ayuda was granted the

Non-Profit Organization legal status

(Inspección General de Justicia de la Nación -

Getting ready for a new window

In August and September 09 and with the

purpose of raising funds, Engineer

Roberto Canaves and Doctor Juan

Waissman, offered a 4-day 20-hour

course "Motorcycles Mechanics for

Adventure Riders" to 25 attendees.

The course was held at Rosen Argentina

S.A. Corporation premises.

The course was so successful that a second

version is scheduled for the coming year.

On September 18 through 20, over 25

members of the association traveled to

School 14 Juan Aguirre, where over those

three days

they

painted the

school's

outside

walls,

doors and

windows

and

placed a

new

window in the Beginner's Level

classroom. Besides they connected new

rainwater pipes and replaced gutters.

They also installed a photocell on the

school's outdoor lamppost.

During their 3-day stay, the

members of the Association

visited the 100-year old School

95 "Provincia de Misiones",

Cuchilla Redonda Department,

province of Entre Ríos,

Argentina.

They assessed the building severe

decay and learned that the

government has never helped with

the school's maintenance.

NEXT OBJECTIVES

Continue with the help - school supplies, books, materials, food

and clothes - to School 14 Julián Aguirre, School 33 San

Lorenzo, School 42 Luis N Palma and School 74 Idelfonso Paso.

Add School 95 Provincia de Misiones as the next school to help.

Finish the building revamping of School 74 Idelfonso Paso.

Gather more sponsors to support the coming projects.

Add more schools to the program.
