Letter From Karrie
Thoughts of Fall!
It’s hard to imagine with these hundred degree
temperatures that fall is right around the corner. Fall
is a great time in Nevada. I am actually coming up
on my nine year anniversary of moving to this
wonderful state and of course, I have come and gone
during those nine years but something always brings
me back. I look forward to fall in Nevada every
year; there are so many things to see and do. Many
of you have enjoyed a roaring UNR football game or
have taken in the morning glow of the beautiful
balloon races. I would love to start some fall
traditions here at Sierra Place, so I am reaching out
to you to share your ideas. We are working hard to
provide you with a more enriching lifestyle here at
Sierra Place! Please let Emilie or I know how we
can add some wonderful new fall traditions here in
our home!
September 9th is Grandparents’ Day!

September Birthdays
In astrology, Virgo’s Virgins are those born
between September 1–22. Virgos are one of
the most careful signs of the zodiac. They pay
attention to detail, analyze problems, and plan so
as to leave nothing to chance. These amazing
listeners give excellent advice. Those born from
September 23–30 balance the scales of Libra.
Libras strive for balance, avoid conflict, and
desire fairness for everyone. To achieve this,
they are sociable, strategic, charming, and
diplomatic.
