100 Year Centenary Remembrance
We will be holding a number of events throughout the
week leading to Remembrance Sunday 11 November 2018. Our team is being led by Carole Newbery who has
immense experience in working within our community. Carole is proving to be an invaluable team leader and is
drawing upon her depth of knowledge within our parish to bring together a very special Remembrance week. She is
being supported by a strong group of parishioners. We aim to have a display in the village hall leading up to
Sunday 11 November.
Memorabilia including accounts and photographs of the 1st and 2nd World War would be gratefully appreciated.
Any history relating to relatives from our parish ,who served in the 1st and 2ndWorld War , can be sent to
Stewart Quick, 9 Medrow, Polyphant, PL15 7PS.
This will be an important event for our parish and it is hoped to bring our whole parish together in Remembrance.
Lewannick School PTA Would like to say a huge thank you to
everyone who supported our Summer Fayre on Saturday 30th June, the total
raised was £1,312. A special thank you goes to Lewannick Events Committee for
the use of the marquees. We would also like to show our appreciation to Mr Ian
Scott and the wind turbine committee for providing us with a grant to fund 4
