• I have made a photo album about human rights issues, depression, addiction and suicide because I wanted to raise awareness as so many young people I know are affected by them.

• I have used all my own photographs and have provided a title and a short description for each one.

• I hope that my photo story will highlight these issues and send a message of hope and inspiration to young people.

• Pictures speak a thousand words in every language.

• I want my piece to inspire people who are not feeling great to seek help and know that they are not alone. There are plenty of ways to get on the road to feeling better.

• No matter what the situation you are in, there is always a way out.

ON THE EDGE

People can be on the edge of society and feel like they are always on the outside looking in and never inside

looking out. They are at risk of falling off the edge.

A BITTER PILL TO SWALLOW

Drugs or Alcohol look like they will provide short term comfort to those feelings isolated

but their side effects can be way more devastating than the original problem.
