Seal cracks in existing AC pavement on Runway 2-20. The crack will be thoroughly cleaned and then blown out with compressed air. Anew hot sealant conforming to ASTM D 5329 specs will be placed. A thin 2” wide “Band-aid seal will be placed on top of each sealedcrack to deter the separation of the seal from the pavement. Seal coat the runway and taxiways after the airfield marking has beenremoved and cracks have been sealed. The slurry seal coat is an emulsified asphalt seal coat in accordance with item P-626 of theFAA Standard Specifications. Prior to placing this seal coat all existing markings will be removed as necessary by water blasting orlight grinding and the pavement will be cleaned of all deleterious materials. The Airfield will be marked to FAA standards conforming toAdvisory Circular 150/5340-1L Standards for Airfield Markings. In all areas of marking the paint will be applied in two coats at separatetimes to minimize discoloration of the markings from bleeding of underlying asphalt. Reflectorizing marking will be obtained usingbeads spread on the wet paint of the second coat of paint. In order to avoid bleeding of asphalt though the new paint the specifiedperiods of curing will be allowed after slurry seal application and the application of the first coat of marking paint.

Remove existing signs and install an entirely new sign system on Runway 2-20 and related taxiways that meets current F.A.A.Standards.
