Product DescriptionLIQUIPOX CTE is a combination of Coal tar & Epoxy with corrosive resistant in nature. It is a two component system. It is used as an anticorrosive and protective coating for concrete as well as steel structure, because, it has excellent chemical resistant properties in atmosphere or in contact with chemicals.

Uses

Advantages

Brush: Good to brush on small area only.

Roller: Thinned to 5% by volume maximum if required.

Conventional spray: Use standard and air pressure of 50-70 PSI.

Airless spray: Use tip size of 0.38-0.48 cm and tip pressure of 1800 -2300.

Surface Preparation

Surface must be clean and free from dirt, rust, grease, oil and loose particles. Thoroughly clean the concrete surface by harsh wire brushing. Clean the dust by compressed air. If possible, wash the surface with water to remove accumulated dust & dirt to achieve good bonding. If it is steel surface, clean to remove rust scales, by wire brushing & scrapping. The best method to clean the surface is sand/grit blasting for best performance. For new surfaces to clean oil and grease use degreasing solvents, such as turpentine or thinners. Surface must be dry before application.

Coverage 3-3.5 m² per kg at 125 microns ofthickness.

Storage

Liquipox CTE has a Shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacturing, if unopened containers are stored in a cool dry place.

Packing 15 Kg +5 Kg container(Base+Hardener).

Safety Precautions

Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Wear protective gear for the hands & eyes. Splashes on the skin should be washed away be cleaning with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, wash thoroughly with clean water. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. In both cases seek medical attention. The product is non-flammable.
