What is Listening?
Listening is the process of taking in what we hear and mentally organize it to make sense of it.

Occurs when one is trying to absorb as much of the information presented as possible.

Occurs when one is genuinely interested in the speaker’s point of view.

Show Interest and be sincere in listening.

Avoid distraction.Use direct eye contact.Evaluate the message after hearing
all the facts.
Do not interrupt.Read both the Verbal and non Verbal
messages.Be empathetic.Paraphrase to correct
misinterpretations.Concentrate on the message as well
as the messenger.

Non-Verbal Communication is conveying meaning or expressing feelings consciously or subconsciously through means other
than words.
