Please click the SUBSCRIBE button and the BELL icon next to it to be notified when the live stream is active. If your internet speed is slow or if you use some older/slow compu- ter/tablet/smartphone the lower quality stream 720p on Facebook will be your better option. Also the reliable live stream is embedded on our webpage www.stvalentinespncc.org (the bottom of home/start page or under the tab Watch YouTube). Please remember, in case the broadcast is broken or interrupted, just refresh your browser and wait a minute or two, or if it is not working, please go back to our channel and search for the new live video. We cannot control it. All streaming services and their servers are overloaded now due to COVID19. PRAYERS FOR OUR SICK PARISHIONERS AND RELATIVES Let us pray for: Ewelina Filyushchenko, Julie & Cliff Brown, Ed & Florence, Kapuscinski, Josephine Zdanowicz, Anna Mendla, Barbara Ganteski, Joseph Smith, Andy Stachowicz, Wanda Groman, Antoinette Drake, Bernice Michlinski, Alfreada Janczuk, Lucy Lynch, Genevieve Root. If you like to add somebody to this list please let us know. FAITH SHARING Today’s readings are all about our narrow sense of justice and the extravagant grace of our merciful God. While God is both just and merciful, God’s mercy often seems, in our view, to override His justice, as God pardons us unconditionally and rewards us generously by offering salvation for first His Chosen People, the Jews and the later called gentile Christians. In the first reading, the prophet Isaiah reminds the exiles in Babylon that their God is more merciful than they are, and more forgiving. In the second reading, Paul offers himself as an example of total submission, aided by God’s grace, to His will. Paul is ready to live continuing his mission, or to die and join the Lord, whichever is God’s will. The Gospel story presents God (the landlord), Whose love and generosity to all of us demonstrates the difference between God’s perspective and ours. God looks at us, sees our needs and meets those needs generously and mercifully. His provisions for our spiritual lives will never run out, and when we share our blessings with others, we tap into the inexhaustible Divine supply. SHARE FOOD PROGRAM AT ST. VALENTINE’S A food box is available for everyone each Wednesday at St. Valentine’s. Distribution takes place at the door of our church hall on Melrose Street.Distribution time: Wednesdays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. Volunteers are welcome, at 8:30 AM to unload the delivery truck.

SUNDAY COLLECTION Parishioners who don’t attend Mass in person are still obliged, according to The Constitution of the PNCC, to support the parish weekly. Please mail your Sunday Offering envelopes to Parish Office or donate online using our webpage. RAFFLE BASKETS NEEDED Please donate the raffle baskets for 2020 St. Valentine’s Lottery. Because we don’t have our annual picnic this year, the lottery will take place in the church, right after 9:30 AM Mass on September 27, 2020. Each family, members and friends who are on our mailing list should receive already 20 tickets by mail. Please respond to my call in the letter and make the generous donations to St. Valentine’s Parish. If you need more tickets, they are available for sale. No separate tickets for baskets this year, but the same tickets you have received will be picked for monetary prizes and baskets as well. Please do not forget to send the smaller portion of your tickets back to the Parish Office and please do not wait to the last day. Remember, Post Office works much slower now and in case your tickets arrive late, they cannot be used during lottery. FILM MAKING AND STREAMING TRAINING AVAILABLE FOR VOLUNTEERS If there is someone among you, who would like to learn from us, me and my wife, and get the new skills of filming and multiplatform streaming, we offer a free training for volunteers, our parishioners and friends, who are willing to help us in our broadcast ministry. Hardware and software study, 1:1 training and practice during live streaming will be an awesome new experience for young adults. Is the Mass boring for you? Get to work and make it interesting for yourself and others. You don’t’ need to be tech savvy, but some basic knowledge of computer and photography is required. ANNUAL PULASKI DAY PARADE ON TV 6 ABC On Sunday, October 4th, between 12:30 and 1 P.M., tune in to see highlights of the Pulaski Day Parade in Philadelphia which will be televised on WPVI-TV 6 ABC. This special broadcast will highlight groups from last year's parade and some special features. Tune in and enjoy this Polish American television broadcast and invite your family and friends to tune in. For more information visit: PolishAmericanCenter.com
