1. Remove the passenger side wheel well liner, then remove V-band clamp (a) from exhaust to the downpipe, and the 14mm bolt(b) that attaches the downpipe to the up-pipe bracket. Also re-move the 3 12mm, 12pt bolts (c) holding the up-pipe to the mani-fold.

2. In the engine bay remove the air intake plumbing and removeall bolts that hold down the silver cast “S” pipe (a)(remembering to remove all sensors and connectors that are attached to this pipe.)*Note: To remove “S” pipe from intercooler piping you will need to twistand pull on lock ring (b).

3. Remove the turbo inlet pipe and PCV connections. Oncethis part is removed you can now unbolt the EGR hot pipe thatruns from the back of the passenger side of the engine to thedriver’s side of the engine.

4. Remove the turbo exhaust heat shield, and remove the sen-sor atthe top of downpipe. Once the heat shield is removed you canaccess the V-band clamp on the rear of the turbo. Remove V-bandclamp and remove downpipe through thepassenger fender well.*Note: You might have to cut heat shield to remove it from the turbo.You do not have to reinstall this part.

5. With the downpipe now removed from the truck you canremove the heat shield that sits on the EGR riser and remaining12mm 12 point bolts that hold the up-pipe to the turbo and to theEGR cooler. Remove the up pipe from the truck.*Note: These bolts are usually easier to access through the fender well.

6. Remove the coolant hose that runs from the metal tube onthe backside of the engine to the EGR cooler (a), and the cool-ant hose running next to it which runs from the side of thecooler to the firewall (b).

7. With all the coolant hoses removed you can remove all the remaining bolts that are holding both the EGR coolers to the engine and pull the assembly out as a whole.

8. With the disassembly now complete you can start to installthe EGR delete components. Start by re-using the factorygaskets and installing the dog bone to the Y-bridge. Use 4 ofthe short bolts that attached the EGR cooler to the engine.

9. Using the supplied L shaped black hose connect themetal coolant hose that runs from the back of theengine to the connectors on the firewall.*Note: This may require trimming to desired length.

10. Using the supplied blue hose connect it to the blackhose on the passenger side of the engine and route it tothe thermostat housing to complete coolant flow.

11. At this point you can now reinstall the factory turbo inlet, cast silver“S” pipe and intake. Reusing the factory gaskets and hardware youcan install the supplied up-pipe and either re-use your factorydownpipe or install an aftermarket down-pipe reusing the factory V-band clamp. Once this is complete you can start the truck and checkfor any possible leaks.
