Location shots
For this presentation, I have taken some pictures of the location to get a rough idea what parts of the area I will be filming in and what shots I will use.
Here are some environmental shots that would be shown during the opening credits.
These shots would be used to make the woods look intimidating and endless.
This concept was used in Cabin Fever (2002) which was effective in this way. I would use this idea for my own film opening to create this effect.
The images above were a location idea for the murder scenes however I felt the space was to open and revealing which wouldn’t make the scene as effective and also make filming hard from members of public.
The pictures below show my final location idea which would be more effective as its in a more confined space. This can make filming easier and the use of space can connote the idea of no escape. When editing this sequence, I would use effects to make this place look darker and more intimidating.
