[…] The main objective of holding this ministerial conference is to obtain the commitment of each country to implement the strategies included in GVAP to strengthen immunization, increase demand for immunization services and accelerate the introduction of new vaccines to eradicate, eliminate and/or control VPDs in Africa. Such a conference will aim to bring together a wide variety of stakeholders to include: Ministers of Health, Ministers of Family & Social Welfare, Ministers of Women’s Affairs, Managers of National Immunization Programmes, bilateral & multilateral partners, CSOs, NGOs and private foundations.

Improve the performance of the demonstration site
and measure impact
• Comprehensive specification of needs for equipment installation
• Comprehensive identification of installation sites
• Appropriate solar cold chain equipment and the necessary tools have been acquired and delivered to the demonstration site
• Customized training curriculum for technicians and of users developed by SELF and AMP
• Sign equipment transfer agreement with MoH
• Official presentation of these equipments to the Minister of Health. About 100 guests invited at Comé for this presentation. AMP will document the event.
• EPI and cold chain/logistics training (4
