speakersIron Man, Cal Ripken Jr. was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007 and is respected by fans around the globe for holding the record for most consecutive

games played (2,632), as well as making 19 all-star game appearances. He is

placed in the record books as one of only seven players in history to achieve 400 home

runs and 3,000 hits. And he has received such accolades as: AL Rookie of the Year (‘82), two-time

AL Most Valuable Player (‘83, ‘91), two-time Gold Glove recipient (‘91, ‘92), and two-time All-Star MVP

(‘91, ‘01). His dedication to greatness on and off the field inspires professionals of all trades.

His character and focus will inspire AGD Annual Meeting & Exhibits attendees throughout his address during the Opening Ceremony on Thursday.

Kids’ Corner Thursday, July 9, to Saturday, July 11 (Open during Exhibit Hall hours)

Enjoy the exhibit space while your children are entertained in the Kids’ Corner. Children are invited to participate in age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, video games, foosball, board games, movies, magicians, balloon artists, face-painting, and arcade games. The AGD Kids’ Corner will be available during Exhibit Hall hours.

Welcome Reception Thursday, July 9, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Nothing says summer more than baseball and hot dogs! Watch the Baltimore Orioles play the Toronto Blue Jays at Camden Yards–right across the street from the Baltimore Convention Center.
