LocationLos Angeles is located in America, in the state of California, is the largest and most populous city in the state of California and the second in the U.S. in number of inhabitants. They are known as „Angelenos”. Los Angeles is the seat of Los Angeles County.

HistoryThe Spaniards arrived first in the area in 1542 .

They wrote about a "magnificent river" and the area was called ' Nuestra Señora de los Angeles de la Porciuncula " After the Yankees took over the power in the area , thousands came to California during the Gold Rush.

City of Los Angeles was officially founded in 1850. The railroad came to town in 1876 . In 1892, oil was found in the area and in 1923 a quarter of the world 's crude oil production was in Los Angeles .

The water was the most important for the city 's development. In 1913, they made the Los Angeles Aqueduct, a 223 -mile-long aqueduct that supplied water from the Owens River to the city. Primarily this is attributable to the city's growth after 1915.

Hollywood Walk of FameThe Hollywood Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,500 five-pointed stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others.

Beverly HillsBeverly Hills is a beautiful city in Los Angeles County.

HollywoodLA „home of Hollywood” is known as the „Entertainment Capital of

the World”, the world leader in the creation of films, television production, video games and recorded music. The importance of the

entertainment industry to the city led many celebrities to Los Angeles and its suburbs.
