Ready-mix concrete is ready-to-use concrete. It is the fastestand most convenient way to pour concrete. Quality is assuredfrom proper selection of mix design, procurement of quality rawmaterials, and production in fully automated central batchingplants till delivery on-site through transit mixers.
L&T is equipped with more than 45 fully automated batchingplants. In addition, it has a fleet of over 400 transit mixers,number of placer booms and concrete pumps operating inmany Metros and major cities across the country. Successful completion of largest single order for the supply
of Ready Mix Concrete to the extent of five lakhs cu.m valuedat around Rs. 125 Cr. for Delhi Metro Railway Project over aperiod of 30 months.
Design and supply of self-compacting concrete (10,000 cu.m.)for the first time in India for DMRC Project in New Delhi.
L&Ts RMC Plant at Hebbal, Bangalore produced 13,005 cu.m. ofconcrete, the highest quantity of concrete produced in a single month
from a CP 30 plant anywhere in the World. Schwing Stetter, the batchingplant manufacturers from Germany, presented L&Ts Bangalore plant a
plaque and citation on 6th July 2004 in recognition of this landmark record.
