TuT: Read the TuT feedback. Make improvements to your pencil tone drawing.

• Look at how the tone has been blended gradually.

• Lightest tones = highest areas and top of curves• Darker = Shadows, lower shapes

To look specifically at the lightest and darkest tones to increase your tonal range to at least 4 tones. Tidy and refine edges and line where needed.

You are showing excellent use of tone, continue to increase your tonal range and show further evidence of your ability to record the tones accurately.

Line and shape has been recorded with accuracy and suggests the form well. You need to be evidencing more of your ability to record from observation. Start to show a wide range of well blended tones

• To complete line drawing. Add detail and tidy edges, ensuring straight lines. Start to suggest a good range of tone.

To improve the outline shape, avoiding dark outlines. Start to add a range of smooth, gradually blended tones.

To observe and record more detail into your object. Look at the different depths and consider how the shadows will be on the bit below. Carefully record the detail.

To increase your tonal range. Make sure tone is smooth and gradually blends through the tonal range. Use mark making to show textures whether this is smooth, shiny, fluffy, bobbly or rough.

To complete a well presented title that illustrates Paolozzi’s style.

To improve the outline shape of your fish and the fins. Look at the angles and curves. Check certain points against other parts of the fish to make sure the size is correct.

To observe and record more detail into the face of the fish. Look at the different layers and consider how the shadows will be on the next layer.

To increase your tonal range. Make sure tone is smooth and gradually blends through the tonal range.

Q: What are these colours called?

Students then make a comment about how they have used TuT to develop work based on the feedback relating to the dot.

Seating plan is then organised according to what dot they have got. Students are all then working on the same area to improve per table

DialogueMaking progress

Looking at ladders

Numbered EBI marking and TuT comments made in

green to see where this has been done and to create a dialogue between staff and

student.

Students copy the feedback comment from the board

relating to the number in their book.

Science – Use of a question as the EBI, students then have to

answer the question in TuT

Drama - Learning Journey to keep a continuous record of the progress being made,

students can be more aware of what progress they are making each week, this is

followed up by a DIRT sheet at the end of each topic and

information can be taken from the learning journey to

show where they have made progress.

Science – EBI comments not just at the end of work but throughout. Students also

respond in green.

English – Structured essay writing in groups, feedback

received after every paragraph so that students can show improvement in

their next paragraph as this is done in groups there is the time to go around each group

and give the feedback..

PE – Comments are made in blue to the

digital copy student and teacher use. As

comments are actioned then they are deleted off, students are then working to delete the comments and have

less blue on their work.
