Initiative for Socio-Economic Analysis and Knowledge (ISEAK)

Development of empirical research, policy evaluation and data analysis, aiming at evaluating quantitative data using advance and complex analytical methods.

Main current projects: • EEA-Norway Project for Youth Unemployment. Analysis and actions to

combat youth unemployment.

• Profiling and evaluation of the unemployed people in Basque Country, in collaboration with the Department of Employment of the Basque Government and Lanbide.

• Research project to analyze labour market situation of Romas in Spain, in collaboration with Fundación del Secretariado Gitano

• Basque Labor Observatory (http://www.informelaboraleuskadi.org/).

• Demography Labor Map of Bizkaia (http://www.bizkaiker.eus/)

• Co-supervising PhD Thesis on gender gap in the labor market.

Main past projects: • Profiling and evaluation of the unemployed people in Murcia, Castilla-La

Mancha, Extremadura and Lanzarote, in collaboration with the Instituto de Innovación Social de la Fundación Santa María la Real.

• Empirical research of the Gender Gap in the labour market in the Basque Country, in collaboration with the Basque Women Institute, Emakunde.

• Co-supervising Master Thesis: “The impact of the Unemployment Benefits on Job Finding-Differences along the Business Cycle”
