The Lv 302 is cheap and easy to transport. The operating costs are low thanks to the electric drive and because the screening meshes are also cheap and easy to change. It makes the screening plant ideal for producers with short-term commissions. The format is optimized for on-site production, even on a very limited space. The rugged construction is focused on the essentials: capacity, flexibility and reliability.

The Maskin Mekano screens impress with their precise grading ability combined with high capacity. And the aggressive stroke also prevents blinding and plugging which means they process all kinds of difficult material with the same efficiency as crushed material.

Powerful feederThe feeding unit consists of a heavy-duty hopper and a vibratory feeder designed in collaboration with Skako exclusively for the Lv 302. The powerful movement and low frequency handles wet and sticky material and recycling masses as well as crushed material. Loading can be performed with both an excavator and a wheel loader. The heavy-duty reject grid tips hydraulically via remote control.

Aggressive screenThe Lv 302 is equipped with the proven STE 2-26 double-deck screen. The aggressive stroke (12 mm) makes it ideal for top soil production as it prevents plugging. It is almost horizontal for pre-cise division of fine material and to prevent the masses from just slithering over the deck. The capacity per square meter screening area is unequalled in the market.

The upper deck is side tensioned and the lower deck is end tensioned. Changing meshes is cheap, easy and quickly done. The open construction gives full accessibility to the screen box for ease of maintenance and inspection.

The STE-screen is really versatile. Crushed material can be separated down to 2 mm, but feeding a 0-250 mm is no problem either. Because of the powerful stroke all kinds of difficult materi-als are able to be processed.

StockpilingThe Lv 302 is fitted with a rear conveyor of 8 m for great stockpil-ing capability. The oversize conveyor is 1200 mm wide for effec-tive feeding of bulky material. The front and side conveyors are totally integrated and hydraulically folded, set-up time is less than 5 minutes.

The motorized pulleys are gummed for operating security even in bad weather.

Low fuel consumptionAll Maskin Mekano plants are electrically driven which means their diesel consumption is up to 60% lower than hydraulically driven plants. The Lv 302 consumes 2-3 litres of diesel per hour. It is driven by a Yanmar diesel-motor optimised for 1.500 rpm. Noise impact is reduced to a minimum. Power can also be supplied from an external generator when available.

Versatile plantNot only the screen is very allround in the Lv 302 T3, the entire plant is designed to be as versatile as possible, to give you the wid-est range of application opportunities. You can use the machine in

a traditional gravel pit, but the compact format makes it suitable for a demolition job in the city as well. It can be fed from a crusher or screening plant or loaded from an excavator or wheel loader. You can process gravel, crushed material, sand, soil, recycling masses, woodchip, landfill and construction waste and so on.

FAQWhat brand is the diesel motor?

It is a Yanmar, water cooled four cylinder motor driving a 35 kVA generator. The rotation speed is 1500 rpm, so it is both quiet and economic.

How do you change the screening media?The upper deck is side tensioned and fastened by 4 bolts. The lower deck is end tensioned and fastened by 2 bolts only. The nose of the screen is foldable for even better access of the lower deck. It is possible to perform the swap as a single operator and after a few times it takes no more than 15 minutes.

What is the price of a new set of meshes?Meshes for the upper deck normally cost 3000-4000 SEK. For the lower deck 2500-3000 SEK.

What if I only want to produce one size?Only use the upper deck for sorting and leave the lower deck empty. The tensioning profiles in the bottom deck need to be fastened in order to prevent wear and tear, the tensioning profile in the rear needs to be removed from the screen box.

What is the feed-in-height of the hopper? What kind of loader is suitable?

The feed-in-height is 3.0 m and the reject grid is 3.0 m wide. A very suitable wheel loader is a Volvo L70, L90 or similar. It is abso-lutely possible to use a smaller loader, but a small access ramp will be needed.

Is a vibrating feeder suitable when producing top soil?For very wet material a belt feeder is often better, but the vibrat-ing feeder of the Lv 302 T3 is designed to handle even difficult material, as it operates with a more powerful movement and lower rotation speed than common vibrating feeders. The benefit of a vibrating feeder is that it will not be ripped by reinforced concrete etc.

Is it possible to adjust the feeding speed?Yes, the variable speed driver is controlled via the radio transmit-ter (also used for tipping of the reject grid). But the interval is smaller than usual for common belt feeders.

What parts usually need to be replaced?The Lv 302 T3 is a very robust plant featuring a lot of the same proven components as the larger Maskin Mekano plants. It is essential to refasten the screening media after a while to mini-mize the strain. If the filters and the oil of the motor are changed according to recommendations and the lubrication points are greased every 40th hour there is usually no need to replace any parts.

How many lubrication points are there? Can it be fitted with centralized lubrication?

It is possible to fit the Lv 302 with centralized lubrication, but most customers chose not to since there are only 10 lubrication points that are very accessible and only need to be greased every 40th hour. To lubricate the bearings of the cylinders once every year is also recommended.

What is the weight of the machine?10,5 tons as standard, in Sweden it can be transported with a standard hook-lift bogie truck.

What is the price of the machine?In the most common edition featuring the rear rubber wheels the price is 1.250.000 SEK.

What is the fuel consumption?The Lv 302 T3 has a fuel consumption of only 3 l/h.

How long is the set-up-time?Just fold the conveyors. It is ready for transport in 2-3 minutes and ready for production in the same time.

What will the machine be worth in 6-7 years?The Maskin Mekano plants have a reputation for very good sec-ond hand value. In 6-7 years the Lv 302 T3 should be worth about 600.000-800.000 SEK, depending more on condition than age.

And the capacity?Lv 302 T3 is suitable for a vast range of recycled material such as asphalt, concrete, landfill and so on, but also for building mate-rial and scrap. The capacity when producing top soil is 30-150 tones/h, depending on how moist the material is.
