The City of Virginia Beach requests to add a previously approved project and transfer TAP funding from one completed project to this added project. The City requests that the following be placed on the May 2021 Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC) and subsequent Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) agendas as an amendment to the FY 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
The donor project UPC 106154 – Bucker Boulevard Shared Use Path, is a completed grouped TAP project with a remaining balance. The recipient project, UPC 109053 – Independence Boulevard/Baxter Road Sidewalk, is an active TAP project that requires additional funding for construction.

We request that the Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC) and the Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) consider this TIP amendment request at the May 2021 meetings.
