The canteens sell more than1000 idlis a day. There is also avery good demand for sambar

Corporation budget canteens sell 1000 idlis dailyrice and curd rice which aresold during lunch time.

The price of idli is Rs. 1 each,sambar rice Rs. 5 per plate andcurd rice Rs. 3 per plate.

The canteens function from7 a.m to 9.30 a.m and fromnoon to 2.30 p.m.

The canteens are managedby members of women’s SHGs.

EB workers rushed the spoton being informed by the localresidents and cut off the power

supply to the box.The main cable which was
