Nissan Terranaut: It seats three people in an interior quite obviously modeled after a U.S.S. Enterprise shuttlecraft. The “spherical laboratory” is accessed from a seat that swivels 360 degrees to give any intrepid scientist access to all of the vehicle’s workstations. Those workstations leave room for only one passenger-side door, while the driver’s side has two swing-out doors with no b-pillar.

The world's most luxurious cruise liner that really is a 'floating city‘ - Oasis of the Seas

These amazing images show the world's largest ever cruise liner taking shape, complete with 'beach pool', shopping mall, rock-climbing walls, outdoor amphitheatre, and New York-style loft suites.

The ship under construction at the Aker Yards of Turku in Finland. Almost 1200 feet long, 154 foot wide and rising 213 feet above the water line, the Oasis of the Seas will be able to host 3,000 crew to service every passenger's need. It will also boast a rock wall, over 15 restaurants and bars, a casino, a theatre, two night-clubs and the largest freshwater pool on any cruise liner.

Built for Royal Caribbean International, when Oasis of the Seas launches next November, she will be the largest and most revolutionary cruise ship

The first plane was invented by the Wright Brothers on December 17, 1903. After a lot of experimenting over planes, Orville Wright and Wilbur Wright became the first inventors to fly a plane with a person in it. The plane flew for almost one hundred and twenty feet in twelve seconds. Their plane was named as Flyer attached with two wings on either side. The wings were made out of wood and were 40 feet wide.

Rocket planes aside, the SR-71 Blackbird holds

the current record speed of 2,242 mph!
