BACKGROUND

Indonesia is a country blessed with abundance and enormous natural resources, one of which is utilized for aquaculture. With marine potency of 11.8 million ha, brackish water 2.3 million ha and fresh water 2.5 million ha, aquaculture development is still yet away from optimal use. Total value of Indonesian Aquaculture has reached US$ 63 - 80 billion per year and needs to be further accelerated its utilization, among others through increasing investment in aquaculture.

Consequently, in order to promote the economy potency and aquaculture business as well as to attract more investor in aquaculture, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MoMAF) Republic of Indonesia through Directorate General of Aquaculture (DGA) will hold its the annual event of “INDONESIAN AQUACULTURE 2015 (INDOAQUA-2015) on 28-31 October 2015 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition, BSD City, Tangerang-Banten.

INDOAQUA 2015 consists of Seminar, Exhibition and Business and Investment Meeting. INDOAQUA 2015 will be inviting numbers of international and national experts, scientists, NGOs, Governments and other related stakeholders as well as potential investor.

INDOAQUA 2015 opening will be held on 29 October 2015 which will be officially opened by the President Republic of Indonesia. This remarkable juncture will also be inviting Ambassador from ASEAN countries, Japan, South Korea, UEA, Saudi Arabia, USA, Australia, England, Norway, Germany, Netherland and Denmark. Furthermore, there will be Gala Plenary Session whereas Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Resource, Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, and Minister of Trade will also be invited as key note speakers.

PAPER SUBMISSION

INDOAQUA 2015 encourages researchers, engineers, lecturers, college students, practitioners, and stakeholder in aquaculture business sector to submit academic paper to be delivered neither in oral or paper presentation yang on all adaptive, applicative, and innovative aquaculture technologies and engineering.

The selected presenter will have to deliver be given a maximum 15 minutes of presentation and another 5 minutes for discussion purpose. Each presenter will have to submit the paper and presentation in PowerPoint form a day before it is being presented. The committee provides LCD Projector and computer notebook for presentation purpose.

Poster presentation will be conducted separately from oral presentation. Each displayed poster has to be accompanied by the creator for the information deliverable purpose. Each Participant has to bring along the standing poster by size of maximal (h) 160 x (w) 60 cm.

ABSTRACT

The committee shall receive the Abstract based on the following criteria: 1. TITLE : Abstract title shall be written in CAPITAL, except for scientific name of

which shall be in ITALIC 2. WRITER : The first writer is preferably the one who will deliver the presentation.

Use the * on the right after the presenter’s name. Type in upper/lower case. Professional and Academic title shall not be imprinted.

3. LANGUAGE : Abstract shall be written in Bahasa and English.

4. Correspondences : Full address and e-mail shall be written in complete and clear manner predominantly for the presenter.

5. ABSTRACT LENGTH : Maximum of 250 words, including abstract keywords. 6. PAPER SIZE : A4 7. MARGIN : Left margin -- 1½ inch and 1 inch for the rest (right/top/bottom). 8. LINE SPACING : Single

2. All submitted abstract will be selected and result will be announced through the writer’s e-mail on 27 September 2015.

3. The selected abstract and writer must submit the complete paper in Bahasa and English at the latest of 15 October 2015

The paper which will be delivered in oral presentation or in form of poster and HAS NEVER BEEN PUBLISHED in any other publication, will be printed within the Proceeding of INDOAQUA 2015, which will be registered to National Library in order to receive ISBN.
