First I added the picture onto the background by dragging and dropping it and then I stretched it out so it fit to the blank space.

Then I added the masthead by choosing the text icon. Then I typed out the name of my magazine and added a dropping effect to get the name under the original. Then I added different colours to the text which would appeal to my target audience.

I then began adding the cover lines in a light green colour so it stands out on top of my image and also so it appeals to my younger target audience. I also added the main cover line and made it obvious it was the main cover line by making the test bigger than the rest but not as big as the masthead.

I finished my cover by filling up the gaps with relevant cover lines but making sure they don’t overlap the models face.
