Hamilton’s switch plates and sockets range from classic antique brass designs to contemporary glossy piano black and even completely clear plates that allow the wall covering to show through. Other finishes available across the Hamilton ranges include satin and bright chrome, satin and bright steel, satin brass, polished brass and even natural wood.

Some of Hamilton’s most popular ranges feature entirely concealed fixings, perfect for ultra-modern rooms that require a smooth, minimalist feel.

Hamilton supplies electrical sockets fixed not only in the British way but also the European style (Eurofix), both of which are designed to match the switch plate ranges for a coordinated look. Sockets of BS, European and US type can accommodate relevant plugs, data and media outlets in whichever combination required in accordance with market standards.

All of Hamilton’s electrical wiring accessories conform to current British or European standards and are manufactured under an accredited BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 quality system. Using our bespoke design and manufacturing service, we can create tailor-made prototypes to a highly finished standard for you to show your clients exactly how your ideas will look, and work as a custom-built electrical accessory.

Tell us what function the item is to fulfil, what style and finish you are leaning towards, and our in-house team of experts will design and manufacture a unique personalised solution that will match your exact requirements. We’ll start by creating 3D CAD views, enabling your idea to take shape and be inspected from different angles and perspectives before proceeding to prototype sampling.

• In addition to our standard selection of finishes, we can pro-vide bespoke premium finishes including PVD, in a choice of finishes such as Nickel or Antique Brass.

• Unique text or graphics can be printed on the plates by laser etching, pad printing or engraving.

Hamilton’s Mercury® lighting system provides simple and effective control of ambient lighting and building systems, allowing users totransform a space with light to reflect a desired mood. It is essential for creating the right atmosphere in all kinds of properties and venues, both inside and out – and can save energy too, minimising unnecessary light usage.

The Mercury® lighting system allows the user to create a series ofmulti-room lighting scenes which can be set, stored and recalled - all at the touch of a button. The programmable, wall-mounted controllers have four buttons that recall the set scenes, along with circuit buttons that are used to adjust the level of lighting in different areas of each room. It may also be controlled via infra-red remote control for complete ease of use.

The Mercury® lighting system benefits from being one of the easiest systems of its kind to install and operate. Once wired in by a qualified electrician there is no specialist knowledge required to alter the settings, which is a major advantage as a user can reprogramme it themselves at any time with minimal effort and at no additional cost.

It is also available with DMX control for more complex LED colour washing effects and can be integrated with other products including the Mercury® multi-room audio system for an entire lighting and sound package.

Multi-room audio systems provide the versatility of controlling music played in different areas of a property; from the living areas to the bathroom, and even the garden! Installing one of these systems facilitates a new level of luxury for the homeowner, affording the flexibility of choosing which sounds they want to listen to, when and where.

With Hamilton’s Mercury® multi-room audio system, each room can feature user-friendly wall-mounted control plates for easy access, the music can also be managed by an infra-red remote control or a two-way WiFi device such as an iPod or iPhone, as it comes with its own official app. The wall plates are available in styles designed to complement other wiring accessories in the Hamilton ranges.

Within each system, up to four music sources can be plugged into a discreet hub and fed into up to four rooms. There are also four input options for devices such as CD players and MP3 players.

The system is quick and simple to install, with no programmingrequired. It uses a star wired hub architecture with all of the maincomponents centralised in a single, compact wall-mounted hub.
