What do we mean by “Goals?”

Actual is the actual quantity achieved for the

metric.

Target (Goal) is what the metric

should be achieving.

% Reached is how far the metric has gone toward its

target.

Because they’re using % Reached as the “apple,” it doesn’t matter if the units of measure differ. So you can compare

dollars to kilograms with no magic math.

Different metrics show for different quantities,

yet all is “apples to apples…”
