We don't focus on mere "knowing" or analytical knowledge and 'rote learning' but more on what we call "Doing" of Skills. Theobjective is to create a sense of purpose and identity.

MBA is not knowledge centric but Skill Centric. We help students in identifying their core skills, developing and then learning toharness these skills.

Our Curriculum and pedagogy stems from our belief in 'Multiple Intelligence' and our pedagogy and diverse learning methodsare based on 'Experiential Learning'.

We believe that both teachers and students are co learners and our teachers facilitate rather than teach according to the 'bankingconcept' where one is the receiver and the other is the giver.

Students learn through experiential methods like live field projects, workshops, action research, simulations, prototyping, role-playing scenarios, socio-drama/psycho-drama, drama, dance, meditation, global immersions, and case studies, seminars, industry interface and guest lectures, mentoring, etc.

Students maintain a daily Journal/ diary in every Semester documenting their experiences.

The social projects undertaken by the students at FMS are commendable.I have not seen any B School where the focus on CSR is so high. Keep upthe good work

The future belongs to those business leaders who can work in variouscross cultural environments. The international tie ups and student exchangeprograms at FMS are a good platform for this.

I regularly interact with the students at FMS and am amazed by theircuriosity and hunger for knowledge enhancement

FMS is one step ahead of other B Schools in its pedagogy. It has movedto experiential learning methods while most of its peers are still stuck withthe conventional methods of teaching.

I was impressed by the campus life shared by the students. Cricket ground,Gym, Squash court, pool, shooting range, volleyball court, basketballcourt…..all in the campus is indeed envious.

The practical learning through live projects at FMS is a very good way ofunderstanding the complex nature and dynamic functioning of the industry.

The human lab is a very innovative, first of its kind concept I have seenin any B School

During my interaction with the students I was told by them that they hadinteracted with more than 50 speakers from the industry and academicworld in the first year itself. That is an amazing number.

I think the intensive curricula of FMS which puts a lot of focus on life skills, communication skills is apt for grooming the students for a career andnot just a job.

I interacted with the students on emerging marketing channels and foundthem very well informed on the new marketing trends
