Ms. Rashmi Deshpande completed her M.Sc. in Bio- Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, she went to the U.S.A. for higher education and completed her M.B.A. Because of her professional background in management studies, she is naturally and particularly inclined towards enriching the Vidyalankar School of Business.

Mr. Avinash Chatorikar after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from U.D.C.T in 1987 went on to do his M. Tech in Chemical Engineering from I.I.T, Mumbai. Passionate about studying further, he completed his M.S. from Oklahoma State University, U.S.A.
Mr. Milind Tadwalkar Educationist (Nominee-Management) Mr. Milind Tadvalkar is the Director, Vidyalankar Dnyanapeeth Trust. He completed his LTM (Licentiate of Textile Manufactures) and Bachelor of Textile Technology from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), bagged the first rank on both the occasions and won awards for academic excellence. He has M. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi with an excellent academic record. Mr. Milind has a rich blend of academic, managerial and consultancy experience. Before joining Vidyalankar, he worked at VJTI, Mumbai for 10 years as teaching faculty. He has successfully handled a number of challenging technical projects on behalf of the Government of Maharashtra, in addition to fulfilling his professional responsibilities

Prof. Ashish Anand Ukidve, the principal of Vidyalankar Polytechnic holds his BE (First Class with honors) and ME (Distinction-2005) in Electronics from Mumbai University. He received Merit Prize from Maharashtra Board for scoring 100% in SSC Mathematics paper. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor – CISA (ISACA – USA) (2006). He is an ISO-27001:2005 (ISMS) Auditor – 2008. Prof.Ukidve is DTE Approved GDPI panel member for MMS Course at L.N. Welingkar Management Institute, Matunga Mumbai. He is visiting Faculty member for Management Institute (AIIMS, Mumbai) for MMS Course since last four years. Prof.Ukidve is Life Member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) as well as Life Member of Computer Society of India (CSI). And carried out consultations and audits out of India – eg. SOX Audit at Tokyo, Japan.Currently he is pursuing his Doctoral Program. Prof. Ukidve has authored several books and continues his pursuit of excellence in the field of engineering and technology.

The Institute has a strategic plan for development where the goals and action plans are stated and are aligned with the Institutes Vision and Mission. The plans are developed by the Steering Committee in consultation with Principal and approved by the Governing Body.
Mechanism/ Norms and Procedure for democratic/ good Governance
:
The Principal is the academic & administrative head who monitors the overall functioning and has powers for academic, administrative, finance and institute's growth. For efficient functioning, the day to day administration is coordinated by HODs, academic administration ,Training & Placements, Internships and Committee activities are coordinated by HODs of respective department. VP has decentralized its operations and has delegated authority at various levels to ensure good governance. There is a structured delegation of authority that encourages the academic leadership among the faculty within subject disciplines, peer groups through clusters and researchers through minor research proposals. Faculty are also empowered to decide academic/administrative/co- curricular/extra-curricular activities. Such decentralization strengthens administrative skills with professional responsibility and accountability that ensures broader participation in decision-making process.

In every semester student’s feedback is taken twice (Mid sem and End sem feedback) for every course and faculty associated with their class/ course. This feedback is analyzed and discussed with concerned faculty by of Head of the Department.
