The Arthur Miller drama “All My Sons” tells the story of Joe Keller, a successful, self-made man who has done a terrible and tragic thing: during World War II, rushing to meet an order from the Army, he knowingly sold them defective airplane parts which later caused the planes to crash and killed 21 men. Miller’s powerful and moving work is about the compromises many are forced to make to live in a dishonest world and about a country’s irrevocable loss of innocence. For ticket information, call 850-718-2220. The Chipola basketball program will host a Blue-Gold Game, Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 6:30 p.m., in the Milton Johnson Health Center. The free event will begin with a light show and introduction of the teams. Fans will have a chance to win prizes throughout the evening, including free textbooks for one semester. The event will feature a three-point contest with between the top four shooters on the women’s team and the top four shooters from the men’s team. Six of the top jumpers on the men’s squad will face off in a three-round slam dunk contest. The women’s and men’s teams will each play short, running-clock scrimmage games. The Indians are the defending state champions and are ranked first in the nation in a pre-season poll by juco-junction.com. The Lady Indians also are the defending state champions. There is no admission charge; however, donations for hurri- cane victims will be accepted at the door. Parents also will have the opportunity to register boys and girls, ages 5 to 13, for the Little Indians program. Jones will cover the psychological effects of Alzheimer’s and the challenges that caregivers face. Donations will be collected to benefit the resource center which also serves the Florida Panhandle. A 20 Hour Childcare Training coursewill meet Nov. 12 & 19 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.Cost is $76. A 10-Hour Childcare Training(developmentally appropriate practices, 3-5 year olds) course will meet Dec. 3 from 7a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $38.
