CORPORATE PRAYER It is our desire to ignite spontaneous corporate prayer in Nairobi Chapel and it’s church plants and “make it a house of prayer with a passion for the nations” as Jesus said in Mark 11:17.

OUR GOAL• To mobilize the church to corporate PRAYER time and personal prayer and fasting, not just for oneself, but for the church, nation and leaders.• To motivate the congregation to embrace prayer, thus increase congregation involvement in corporate prayer meetings and prayer services.

OBJECTIVES• Mobilize the church to corporate prayer• Pray for Unity: Respond to God’s call to unite believers in the great command and commission, by encouraging all small groups in the church to pray.• Prayer and Mission: Support the church planting focus of

Nairobi Chapel• Prayer circles: Establish prayer support for all our Nairobi Chapel Pastors, entrusted with the great vision and mission.

PERSONAL PRAYEROur desire and ultimately our goal is to renew our passion for Jesus through praying unceasingly as 1 Thessalonians 5:17 encourages us.

2017 CALENDAR 1. Pre-service prayer meetings on Sundays at 8:00 and 10:30 am.

2. “iPRAYse” meeting Every last Friday of the month - at 6:30 – 8pm.

3. Prayer and healing services; Every 5th Sunday of the month.4. Corporate Prayer and fasting dates; Jan. 22nd –29th, July 25th- 30th and Oct. 24th -29th.5. Pentecost Sunday a “Global Day of Prayer for Church Planting (June

4th) 6. All Intercessors training: First Sunday of every month.

PRAYER MINISTRY

REQUIREMENTS FOR RENEWAL OF VOWS• A marriage certificate• Married 2 years and above• Preferably church wedding• Interview with a pastor ahead

Who is to renew their vows: Those Couples who have made deliberate decisions, that they want to treat each other differently but most importantly they want Christ to be the center of their marriages. Couples that would be possibly and prayerfully called upon to be Mentors to younger couples, facilitators in the marriage ministry. By signing up to the renewal of vows, you

are making a very serious commitment before God and the congregation. You have looked at your past and possibly you have felt you have not been a great husband or wife and you want your marriage to be different after listening to elder Bill Mumley sermon on marriage, and it has touched your life and you want to do things differently. If that is how you feel then we would ask anyone who has been married for at least two years and has a marriage certificate to please feel free to sign up. We will be calling those that signed up for a brief interview with one of our pastors.

Monday: Quest Children’s church is divided into two main age groups Kiota (Nest)

for age 2-5 and Jasiri (means brave) for age 6-11. Within Kiota the children are further divide into three groups; Children of 2 years are in Itibari class (means a budding plant) the goal is to help them discover their faith, Neema (Grace) class is for ages 3 and Imani (Peace) class for ages 4-5. The second division has separated the boys and girls for effective learning; Sifa (Praise) ages 6 and 7, Shangwe class ages 8 and 9 years. Lastly Johari class of 10 to 11 years prepares to graduate to Crossroads our teens church at the beginning of the year. Every end of month a children scripture memory championship is held the next being 2nd of April, parents are encouraged to learn with their children to encourage them. Please pray that the word of God will be the foundation for our children’s lives and they will never part from it.

Tuesday: VUMA is our ex-candidates ministry to youth who have just completed their

high school. The goal of this program is discipleship and leadership development. The word “vuma” is an acronym for: Vibrant in purpose: calling and career. Unveiled in potential: talent and spiritual gifts. This is achieved through practical ministry to schools and missions. Mature is creating self-awareness. Anchored is

principles developed through spiritual foundations. Currently there are 75 youth in the three months long program. Please pray for all those who do not have a relationship with Jesus that they will make a decision for Christ by the end of this program. Also pray that God will strengthen those who have made a commitment to faith that as they transition to universities and colleges they will stand as fearless influencers.

Wednesday: Our mission and vision at Nairobi Chapel is to grow D.E.E.P to reach

W.I.D.E. We aim to reach 1 Million and to disciple 100,000 people and plant 300 church by 2030. Thank God that we now have over 100 churches. There are two types of churches that are being planted, churches similar to Chapel and Faith based churches in peri-urban areas. Our prayer is to plant at least 50 new church plants by the end of the year. Pray that God will enable us to get the people and resources to do this. Also pray for the 10 new church plants targeted and planned to be planted by June this year in peri urban arrears such as; Ruthigiti, Nasho area, Kawangware, Waruku, Saika and Ndenderu. Ask God to provide financial recourses, appropriate venues for meeting places and people to serve in the churches. Pray for this spiritual growth to be experienced in these churches as correct doctrine is taught in these churches.

Thursday: Nairobi Chapel Kiambu Road continues meeting and we are giving thanks giving

for church growth with over 100 adults, 40 children and 15 teens every Sunday. Thank God for the active committed volunteers who serve in various ministry with great dedication. Please give thanks for the 25 men who are about to graduate from man enough program and 20 others in the parenting and plugin class. Currently there is a strong drive to begin reaching out to the communities around them. Please pray that many will join the outreach events organized next month. Please pray for expansion plans to purchase of 200 sits and move to a tent the month of April, due to the fact that they have out grown the hall they have been meeting. Also pray for the ministry team as they gear towards putting logistics in place for the 1st year anniversary on 14th May. Ask God to strength the ministry team, give them wisdom and recourses that they need to manage this transition.

Friday: Nairobi Chapel Lavington celebrated one year since they began as a church this month,

they are grateful to God for the many transformation stories of salvation, renewed and strengthened faith of congregants and more the opportunities to serve in Church. They are also thanking God for the 170 adults who attend their services each Sunday and 40 to 50 children who attend their children’s church. Please pray for the next year as they continue to build community through small groups, and challenge them to missions in high schools, community including the police stations. Pray for plans to reach 10 high schools in the area and for more volunteers to be part of the high school ministry.

Saturday: Nairobi Chapel Parklands, this month the as talking about sharing the love of

Christ. To this end they are doing two outreach events the first being a coffee run around the Parklands streets on 24th March and an Easter concert at Oil Libya on Limuru Road on the 6th of April. Pray that the message of Christ will go out with power and that many will make a decision to follow Jesus. Please pray for the congregation to boldly go out and share the gospel with love to many in the area who are of different faiths. Ask God to strengthen and encourage Pastor Andai and the ministry team as they give leadership to this church. Also pray for resources needed for ministry to continue in this Church and for spiritual transformation and real community transformation.

Sunday: #Ride 47 is an initiative to support the LOGOS Scholarship Fund. The HAKI Foundation

Trust started an Educational Students Scholarship Fund (LOGOS Scholarship Fund), 8 Years ago that presently has 450 Students both in High School and University / Tertiary Institutions. Motorcycle Riders ride round the country to the 47 counties in Kenya, for 47 Days: The first leg will start on March 4th - 17th, the second leg: March 20th - 31st, and the last leg will be April 3rd - 22nd this year. The motorcycle riders aim at visiting all the schools that have scholars already sponsored by the fund. They will also conduct Safety Campaigns for Boda Boda Riders in all County Headquarters and in addition they will do a documentary of the beauty and diversity of Kenya. Please pray that the goal to raise will be achieved and that the riders will be safe.
