An Interdisciplinary Unit: Science andVisual Art
This was a grade 7 unit ofstudy called eco-etho
jewelry. Students studied theproperties of metals and thenmade jewelry from recycledmetal. Some earrings werebought by proud parents foras much as $20 a pair. The
proceeds went towardsbuying stationary for HIV/AIDS orphans.
