The outlook for the Consultancy & IT Services market is positive but a mixed picture
Market trends• The market will continue to grow, but at a slower rate than last year
• Overall trend in the private sector is for budget IT containment. Government spending will increase next year, but will slow after 2007
• But in places encouraging signs of a return to a ‘growth agenda’ funded by IT Cost cutting
• Rightshore is the major trend enabling cost containment – estimated at 15% which will accelerate in the next 2-3 years
• IT Outsourcing (infrastructure + application led deals) + BPO accounts for 55% of all IT services revenue which offers 7% growth rates for the foreseeable future IT Budgets
