My Time for Free Time Respite will begin meeting again on January 3rd, 2019 at 1:00pm at Hope Central

Campus.

Special Congregational Meeting

to adopt amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws recommended by the Congregational Council.

Sunday, January 13th at 12:45pm at Hope Central Campus

The amendments are available on the homepage of our website, www.hope2all.org, or by request from the office.

Annual Congregational Meeting

and ratification of the amended constitution.

Sunday, February 3rd, at 12:45pm at Hope Central Campus

Be a Part of the Hope Music Department

On January 13th, the Hope Lake Weir Campus will begin rehearsals for its first singing ensemble since the merger.

Anyone, no matter what level of experience or ability, is welcome. If you call the Lake Weir campus your church home, or would like to commit to the music department at

that campus, consider joining us in song.

We will practice on Sunday mornings before church for an hour from 8:30am to 9:30am, every other week.

The group will be led by Dennis Keinitz, our current song leader and music director at Hope Lake Weir Campus.

We hope to see you there!

Thrivent at Hope

Thrivent will meet on January 14th at 5:00pm at Hope Central Campus for the annual White Elephant gifting. Bring something wrapped that you would like to exchange. There are always surprises!

We would also like to send a gift to the Good Gifts project through Lutheran World Relief. There is a wide variety so we can decide based on how much money we donate.

Bring a dish to pass and your own table service for the potluck. We’ll start the New Year with a step into a brighter future for some people that need extra help and a chance to exchange something that we don’t need.

Happy New Year!

Questions? Call Bonnie Andrus 430-4475 or email [email protected]

Social Suppers There will be NO Social Supper on January 2nd.

Suppers will resume on January 9th.

Every time you give a donation to the Hope Lake Weir Food Pantry, you stock our shelves not only with food, but with love and joy in Christ’s name! Donations are always being accepted. Food, toiletries, new toys, and household donations can be brought to both Hope Central Campus and Hope Lake Weir Campus. Going shopping soon? Our list of most needed items is available at both campuses. If you have a question or would like to volunteer, please call the Hope office at (352) 750-2321.

accommodations for several groups of adults and children.

Interested in housing these talented kids? Sign up in the Event Sign-Up Center or call the Hope office.

Donations Needed for The Rock at Lake Weir Middle School!

The Rock is collecting gently used coats, hats, and gloves for the children at Lake Weir Middle School. Sizes needed range from Youth Large to Adult 2x. Donations may be brought to Hope Central Campus by January 13th.

At Lake Weir Middle School, about 100 students each week ask for food donations to help feed their siblings at home. 80% of the children around Hope Lake Weir Campus qualify for free or reduced lunch. Some of the children come from broken homes and don’t have adequate food, clothing, hygiene products, or emotional support. Others are dealing with family drug problems. Many do not know Christ.

Hope Lutheran Church is ready to establish The Rock at Lake Weir Middle School, but we need YOUR help! To become a part of this forming ministry, sign up in the Event Sign-Up Center at Hope or contact Fred O’Brien, Mission Outreach team member, at 326-8274.

Dine to Donate at Texas Roadhouse!

The next Hope Lutheran Church Dine to Donate evening

will be Monday, January 7th from 3:00pm to 9:30pm.

Invitations are available in the Narthex and in the church office. You must pick up an invitation prior to January 7th.
