  • 1. 1 ACKNOWLEDGMENT Alhamdulillah, first of all we would like to thank ALLAH SWT as finally we were able to finish our assignment that have been given by Marketing lecturer to us. For this time, this task had been done with all afford by group members even though a little bit problem were happened among us while doing this assignment. Luckily, all the problems can be settle down and we were able to adapt properly and wisely. Besides that, a big thank we address to our lecturer Madam Fauziah Binti Ayub Han because without her guide our assignment cannot be done properly like this. She always give us supports and guide to us how to do our assignment in purpose to produce a good outcome from research that been studied. Finally, thanks to our beloved friend that always stick together and also work hard to produce a good assignment with all afford and responsibility. Hope that all the afford will give a lot of benefits to us and also to our group project. Million thank also we wish to our entire classmate because they also help us in doing our group. They always give us ideas and comments on our project so that we can improve our project in many ways.

2. 2 Marketing PLAN 3. 3 1. MARKETING OBJECTIVES Our company marketing objectives is to sell our product and achieve great sales. Also, to attract and motivated the customer to purchase our product. Our business is trying to give the customer and client the best product that can satisfy their needs and wants. We also want our product to be well known by many people in the future and merge to outside Malaysia. The product that our business sells is dry seaweed or well known of Pure Marine Collagen (PMC). What we want to achieve here is we want people to know that there are product of dry seaweed that are pure collagen (PMC) from Sabah. We commonly have in the market. This product has high potential in the local market and in the abroad market. Further than that, our company also will join any event based on agriculture to market our product. It is important for our company, to let people know that we sold the dry seaweed. This is because the product that we sold is a new product that is already existed in the market, but some of people do not know of it benefit. Besides that, we sale 3 types of dry seaweed, which are grade AA (white), grade AAA (purple) and grade AAAA (green). Most of existing seller, sell seaweed of grade AA and grade AAA. Therefore, our business wishes to commercialese seaweed of grade AAAA, which is the green one. We also want to have good customer relationship with our customer and ensure their satisfaction. Next, we want to provide customer with our product with a very reasonable price so surely they want to try this product and use it when they have try it. We also want to let them know about the advantages of using our product rather than product that have in the market now. We also will get feedback, opinion and comment about our company and product to make us update about what the customer and client really want from our company. Our business running by online (Facebook), customer or people who are want to buy our product, they can order at www.facebook/bioaesthetic.com. So that we can pos by pos laju order product by refer to the customer addresses. Flyers are provide 4. 4 very month to make our product more noticeable and will more likely get the attention of potential consumers or clients. ANALYSIS OF THE SURVEY FOR 50 PEOPLE Question 1: Gender. The first question is about gender. Our questionnaire is contributed to the 50 people to answer the survey. About 25 people are male and the balance of it is female. Based on the pie chart above that shows the percentage of male and female that answered the questionnaire, half is male and half is female. GENDER MEN FEMALE 6. 6 Question 2: Age of people The second question is about age of people. In our questionnaire, there are three multiple answer. Which is 17-25 years old, 26-32 years old and last are 33-above years old. Based on analysis of questionnaire, there are 15 people (30%) at age of 17 up until 25 years old, 16 people (32%) at age of 26 up until 32 years old and 19 people (38%) at age of 33 up until above years old. In third question, the types of product that now a days people who answered this survey used right now. In this question, there are four types of answer provided. Which are Herbalife, Beautskinz, Dermalogica and other. Based on analysis that had been made, there are 16 people (33%) used Herbalife, 14 people (27%) used Beautskinz, 11 people (21%) used others product and 9 people (19%) used Dermalogica. This question is about how many people know about Dry Seaweed/Pure Marine Collagen. The answer is rather Yes or No. based on 50 people that answer the survey 20 (40%) out of 50 people is know the Dry Seaweed and the balance of people (60%) does not know about the Dry Seaweed. PURE MARINE COLLAGEN YES NO 9. 9 Question 5: Describe an important about the collagen for people now a day. The fifth question is asked about how important the collagen for people who volunteer to answered the survey. There are three classes of answer which are not important, important and very important. The output of result of the survey the highest percentage is 70% answered of Important, 35 people, second is 20% answered of Very Important, 10 people and last one is 10% answered Not Important, 5 people. This question asked about the expenditure for a month that people for their beauty and health product. There are three categories, which are first categories is RM50-RM150, second is RM151-RM200 and third is RM201-above. Both categories of RM50- RM150 and RM201-above are 10 people (20%). 30 (60%) people is in categories of RM151-RM200. In last question, it is about types of dry seaweed that mostly people prefer to eat and popular. There are three types of product, which is Grade AA (White), Grade AAA (Purple) and the last one is Grade AAAA (Green). The most popular is Grade AAA (Purple) at 48% (24 people), followed by Grade AA (White) at 38% (19 people) and last is Grade AAAA (Green) at 14% (7 people). TARGET MARKET To ensure that marketing efforts fulfill customers needs and wants as well as get profit to the business. So, our business is focus market categories which is human being. It because of that, we identify and focus on chosen demographic and psychographic; for demographic segmentation is a simple form of market segmentation, this target segmentation focuses on age, gender and life cycle, or income and also for psychographic segmentation is focuses on personal taste, status and motives to purchase the product that should be individual customer that is adult (male and female) and teenagers. For the record certain people are assumed to have common characteristics which influence buying attitudes. In this market segmentation, age, gender and life cycle, or income can be more priority than any other segmentation because of life style of now a day people needs healthy live. On other hand, we target to manufacturer our product and distribute the products at retailer shops/local marts because that will make the fast way to our product to reach other consumer need. We are focusing on individual who for group that work and give priority to personal appearance also possess taste that is high in skin care and like practice diet, seaweed is good choice. This product has protein that high compared collagen that exists in flying bird's nest. Without this potential target market, we cannot be operates smoothly. It is important to hold a good relationship between us and maintain the requirement of dry seaweed to maintain our product quality and to give an increase of the profit to the company. 14. 14 5. MARKET SIZE Bio- aesthetic Enterprise is involved in the packing and distribution of dry seaweed or Pure Marine Collagen (PMC). Our business is running the product by the online service. The business has identified its target market which is by take some estimation by our competitors sales:- Our company has estimated that about 23.4% from the total sales of our competitors. Also we estimate one person or customer will made purchases about 400g per month or RM24 per month. MARKET STRATEGIES Marketing strategy should have in all kind of business. It must be applied in the four elements which product, price and promotion. For that our company was make that strategy such as the detail at the below. Product strategy We provide the dry seaweed in 3 types. There are grade AA (white), AAA (purple) and AAAA (green). So that can give more satisfaction for people to choice. We also choice the good supplier and good quality of our product. Therefore, our customer will be satisfied and will buy again. We can add new stock with every week. Price Strategy Price that we put it is a very reasonable. It can be buy for the all our target segmentation. Our price is in range: Grade AA (white): 100g= RM5; 500g=RM12 Grade AAA (purple): 100g=RM7; 500g=RM18 Grade AAAA (green): 100g=RM8; 500g=RM22 Promotion Strategy i. Create our business facebook and blog We create this blog for customer easy to communicate and buying our product. For the fees that we provide to our customers depend on place. ii. Flyers We contributed this flyers very month to the people who is our around. So that people will know our product existing. iii. Business card All the partners in our business will be received their own business card. It is important to us make any transition business. Easy to any customer or any supplier to contact us. iv. Questionnaire We will use questionnaire to easier know how many market demand that customer want. v.
