Archdiocesan Training for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

St. Mary Church, Mt. Angel

Friday May 25, 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Msgr. Gerard O’Connor, Director of the Office of Divine

Worship of the Archdiocese of Portland, will present a training

session for all Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

He will present the new norms of the Archdiocese with some

best practice for those involved in this important ministry.

Msgr. will discuss some special considerations for those who

minister to the homebound and those in

nursing homes, hospitals, and other

institutions. Each attendee will receive a

copy of the Vademecum containing the

Archdiocesan Norms and the Rites

for Communion to the Sick.

approx. 18 hours per week, and are, by themselves, part-time with no benefits. Applicants who feel
