Les recordamos que la asistencia a la celebración Eucarística es muy importante, por lo tan-to, les pedidos a los padres de familia y a nuestros jóvenes que no deje de participar los domingos en la Santa Misa. Asi mismo tengan presente que las medidas sanitarias durante esta pandemia se-guirán recomendándose. Para la asistencia al catecismo, les el uso de cubre bocas, el uso de gel anti bacterial y la toma de temperatura. Teresa Margarita del Sagrado Corazón, O.C.D. La Pobreza una Joven Carmelita Fr. Luis Gerardo Belmonte-Luna, O.C.D. Hace un par de años fui invitado por la Orden Secular de los Carmelitas Descalzos de San Antonio, Texas., para darles un retiro sobre Teresa Margarita del Sagrado Corazón, de quien había escuchado hablar pero que no conocía directamente. El Carmelo Teresiano ha sido bendecido con infinidad de santos, sobre todo de monjas y aun mas, jóvenes que han dado verdadero testimonio de vida y ejemplo de vivencia del carisma de la orden. Teresa Margarita, es una de las grandes santas que ha dado el Carmelo Teresiano a la Iglesia, extendiéndose su fama de santidad en la bella Florencia del siglo XVIII. Nació en Arezzo el 15 de julio de 1747 y fue bautizada al día siguiente en la fiesta de nuestra Seño-ra del Carmen con el Nombre de Ana María Redi. La Joven italiana desde muy temprana edad muestra su gran interés por saber quién es Dios. Su obligada pregunta: ¿Quién es Dios? Que hacía con inocencia, más que causar enfado, provocaba cierta curiosidad y admiración entre los familiares. La pequeña Ana María quedaba siempre insatisfecha con las respuestas que recibía, posiblemente carentes
de profundidad para lo que entonces ella deseaba escuchar. No fue sino su madre, Camilla Belleti, quien le daría la respuesta anhelada: “Dios es Amor” (Deus Caritas Est). Ante tal descubrimiento no quiere ni desea otra cosa sino encontrarse con ese Amor. Este ardiente deseo le llevara a abrazar la virtud de la pobreza, donde encontrara el rostro de ese buscado Amor. Esta virtud la practicará no solo como voto de obe-diencia cuando más tarde ingresara al Carmelo de Florencia, sino como un celoso apostolado que le ayudara a vivir en el amor, expresándolo en su comunidad a través de sus obras con las hermanas. Teresa Margarita hará de si un instrumento de servicio que ejercerá felizmente hasta su muerte. Servir a los demás, sobre todo, a las hermanas enfermas será el más noble gesto de cómo ejercita esta virtud que tiene su raíz en la caridad. El modelo de pobreza e inspiración de la misma lo encontrara en San Francisco de Asís, con quien se identificara y a quien tomara co-mo su patrón antes de su ingreso al Carmelo. Gracias a la influencia de su padre Ignacio Redi, pudo recorres los lugares donde el Santo estuvo e inclusive en el lugar don-de se encontraba el Cristo de San Damián, sentirá mas estrecho su admiración por el padre seráfico. Otro dato curioso que alimentara su admiración por Francisco, serán los frescos de la vida del santo que se encontraban en la capilla ubicada den-tro de la villa de los Redi, que frecuentaba constantemente en sus momentos de oración y meditación personal. La vida de esta santa carmelita se caracterizara por una “vida escondida”. Su constante deseo es ejercer la caridad sin buscar ningún reconocimiento. Su vida espiritual oculta tendrá dos razones: No buscar el reconocimiento e imitar la vida escondida de la Sagrada Familia. Su modo particular de vivir la pobreza estará libre de la influencia jansenista que se ventilaba por aquellos años. La devoción al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, que comenzó a extenderse durante el siglo XVIII en España, Fran-cia e Italia y que gracias a Ignacio, su padre, Teresa Margarita conoció, hizo que fuera fiel devota de Él y adoptarlo como título religioso. Su devoción al Sagrado Corazón, sede del amor de Dios y que representa la humanidad de Cristo, le ayuda-ra a vivir una caridad fraterna, libre de una falsa humildad y de apariencias piadosas, entregando amor con amor. Murió a los 23 años el 7 de marzo de 1770 en Florencia.

Prayer to Saint Joseph To you, O blessed Joseph, do we come in our tribulation, and having implored the help of your most holy Spouse, we confidently invoke your patronage also. Through that charity which bound you to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God and through the paternal love with which you embraced the Child Jesus, we humbly beg you graciously to regard the inheritance which Jesus Christ has purchased by his Blood, and with your power and strength to aid us in our necessities. O most watchful guardian of the Holy Family, defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ; O most loving father, ward off from us every contagion of error and corrupting influence; O our most mighty protector, be kind to us and from heaven assist us in our struggle with the power of darkness. As once you rescued the Child Jesus from deadly peril, so now protect God's Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and rom all adversity; shield, too, each one of us by your constant protection, so that, supported by your example and your aid, we may be able to live piously, to die in holiness, and to obtain eternal happiness in heaven. PRAYER FOR THE TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001
The following prayer was prayed by both Pope Benedict XVI (on April 20, 2008) and by Pope Francis (on Septem-ber 25, 2015) when each visited Ground Zero in New York City.
O God of love, compassion, and healing, look on us, peo-ple of many different faiths and traditions, who gather to-day at this site, the scene of incredible violence and pain. We ask you in your goodness to give eternal light and peace to all who died here-- the heroic first-responders: our fire fighters, police officers, emergency service workers, and Port Authority personnel, along with all the innocent men and women who were victims of this tragedy simply because their work or service brought them here on Sep-tember 11, 2001. We ask you, in your compassion, to bring healing to those who, because of their presence here that day, suffer from injuries and illness. Heal, too, the pain of still-grieving families and all who lost loved ones in this tragedy. Give them strength to continue their lives with courage and hope. We are mindful as well of those who suffered death, injury, and loss on the same day at the Pen-tagon and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Our hearts are one with theirs as our prayer embraces their pain and suffering. God of peace, bring your peace to our violent world: peace in the hearts of all men and women and peace among the nations of the earth. Turn to your way of love those whose hearts and minds are consumed with hatred. God of under-standing, overwhelmed by the magnitude of this tragedy, we seek your light and guidance as we confront such terri-ble events. Grant that those whose lives were spared may live so that the lives lost here may not have been lost in vain. Comfort and console us, strengthen us in hope, and give us the wisdom and courage to work tirelessly for a world where true peace and love reign among nations and in the hearts of all.
