On the face of it, these are difficult commandments to live out day after day, but Moses reminds us that they are written in our hearts. Our task is to listen to God’s word and carry it out at each moment, in each situation we face.

Priest Pension Fund Collection Thank you for your generosity. Last month, our parish

took up a collection in support of our retired priests. We have received many gifts in the collection basket and online. Your charity and kindness are a sign of the care and affection we feel for our faithful priests, who have ministered to our spiritual needs for generations. If you would still like to give to the Priest Pension Fund, there is still time. Please continue to keep our priests, both retired and active, in your prayers.

Merlin Shrine Pilgrimage Bishop Fabbro and Bishop Dabrowski invite the faithful to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary on Tuesday, July 16. The day will begin with lunch at noon, followed by a concert performed by the Wallaceburg LifeTeen band at 1:00pm. A rosary procession will take place at 1:30 pm, followed by Mass celebrated by Bishop Dabrowski and benediction at 2:00 pm.

Summer Leadership Camp Our Diocesan Summer Leadership camps offer a couple of different options. For those students going into grades 9-12 next fall, we offer Full Impact Camp, with two weeks to choose from; Jul 29-Aug 2 at Huron Church Camp in Bayfield or Aug 5-9 at Gesstwood Camp in Essex. And the Empower Intro Camp is for those young people going into grades 7 & 8 in the fall and will take place Aug 7-9 at Gesstwood. All the great details can be found at dol.ca/cclc

COMBER FAIR ~ August 9, 10 & 11, 2019 The Knights of Columbus are once again operating the BEER GARDEN at this year's Comber Fair. As in the past years, help is needed to make this a successful fundraiser towards the Parish Building Fund. We are in need of help behind the bar, selling tickets, collecting entrance fees, food booth, and chaperons on Saturday evening.
