How do I define myself???

In social structures around the world, people identify with a characteristic that contributes to their social position known as

Master Status

Sociologists believe that a person’s

perceived master status overpowers

other identifying traits.

What does that mean???? If a woman feels that her role as a

mother is more important than her role as a woman, a daughter, and a wife, she is more likely to identify

with other women who label themselves as such.

Who am I???

How would I define my master status?
