Well-Traveled Collection

We mixing old-fashioned processes with fashion-forward silhouettes and color palettes. Most of our fabrics are

made using craft traditions such as hand loom weaving and hand block printing.

But that’s just half the story– this is fashion with impact. Our garments and accessories are made by artisans at fair trade cooperatives in India and Nepal,

and their work is a way out of poverty and a better future for their children.

Manju, Asmita, and hundreds of other women artisans are the makers behind Mata’s fair trade fashion. They sew, string beads, and print textiles. They are members of cooperatives in India and Nepal that provide training, fair wages, and supportive benefits like health care and child care, literacy classes and financial education.

WHOLESALE TERMS AND CONDITIONSSpring merchandise will ship in March and/or April, 2014 unless customer indicates a later ship date.

Minimum opening order is $600.00 per season. There is no minimum for seasonal reorders. Upon request, a $250.00 minimum on accessories-only orders may be granted.

Orders can be placed online by registering for a wholesale account at www.matatraders.com. They can also be placed via phone, fax, or email to mata@matatraders.com.

PAYMENT TERMSAll orders from first-time customers must be pre-paid by Visa or Mastercard only. Net 30 terms may be extended to returning customers who meet our criteria and have completed the Net 30 application process. Customers who do not meet these criteria will remain on

credit card terms and be charged at time of shipment.

SHIPPINGOrders will be shipped from our warehouse in Chicago, IL, USA. Domestic orders will be shipped via FedEx Ground. Cost of shipping and handling will be added to the invoice at

the time of shipment.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPINGInternational orders are shipped either via DHL or USPS Priority Mail, depending on the

customer’s preference. International duties will be the customer’s responsibility.

BACKORDER POLICYBackorders totaling less than $40 will be cancelled unless otherwise specified.

Backorders of $40 or more will automatically be scheduled to ship when the item(s) become available. Shipping charges for backorders will not exceed 10% of the value of the backorder. If you have a specific backorder policy, please state it on your order and it will

supersede our policy. International orders do not receive backorder shipments.

RETURN POLICYIf you wish to return items for any reason they should be sent back in their original

condition within 15 days of receipt, along with a written return request. Please specify whether you would like a refund, account credit, replacement, or exchange.
