The Department of Planning and Land Use will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 8, 2012 beginning at 1:00 pm at the Animal Control Training Room located at 9470 E. Chanlyut Circle, (between the Central Landfill on 49th State Street and the Recycle Center) Palmer.

The purpose of this public hearing is to obtain public input on a new application for the FFY12 Community Development Block Grant program. Interested parties are invited to attend and nominate projects for this grant program.

If no new nominations are received the Matanuska-Susitna Borough will apply for funding in partnership with the Alaska Community Development Corporation for the HOME Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program as determined by the Department of Planning public hearing held November 17, 2011.
