Geothermal  merupakanenergi yang dihasilkan dari

interaksi panas batuandengan air yang mengalir

disekitarnya. Interaksitersebut menghasilkan uapyang dapat dimanfaatkan

untuk menggerakkan turbindan menghasilkan listrik.

fosil seperti minyak bumidan batubara, energigeothermal  dapat

diperbaharui dengan caramenjaga kandungan air

yang berinteraksi denganpanas yang berasal dari

dalam bumi.

geothermal  sebesar 40%cadangan global,Indonesia memiliki

potensi yang luar biasauntuk mengembangkan

energi geothermal  untukmenjawab kebutuhan

energi nasional dan dunia
