BIO: Matthew Mayfield is a singer/songwriter from Bir-mingham, Alabama, influenced by the sound of artists such as Eddie Vedder, Peter Gabriel, and Kings of Leon. Mayfield announced the release of his debut solo EP entitled “The Fire” on August 25, 2008, after the disband-ment of his former group Moses Mayfield. Hehas since released 5 additionalEPs. Mayfield’s song “First in Line” was featured on the hit drama Grey’s Anatomy ear-lier this year, and he has per-formed on tour with artists such as Pete Yorn, Blue Oc-tober, Switchfoot and Need-toBreathe.
