Message from Dr. Curtis
Thank you so much for those who showed interest in serving on the CBLT. Mr. Christopher
Jackson and Mrs. Ofelia Rogers will serve as parent representatives. Mrs. Remi Deazle and
Pastor Joseph Hargrove will serve as community representatives. Mrs. Ana Flores will serve as a
business member (need 1 more). PTA is also looking for new board members. Come out Friday!
We have 13 school days under our belt now. This week you will get a chance to meet your
scholar’s teachers at Open House. During Open House you will rotate to all classes. Open House
will not be a time to discuss student progress but rather to learn about the structure of the class
and general information. Feel free to ask questions that are good for the group.
Our fall sports are kicking off we home games this week. We want our scholars to attend and
show school spirit. Please make sure you read the message under Monday’s column. Have a
great week and see you all later this week at Open House and the PTA Meeting.
