ANNOUNCEMENTS Bnei Akiva Detroit’s Yom Hazikaron & Yom Ha’Atzmaut event on May 8, at
YIOP, at 6PM. The program will include a meaningful ceremony, davening, Y-Studs concert (an award winning Capella group), & a dessert reception. Cost $10 per person. For reservations email [email protected] or call 248 764-0681.

Volunteers are needed to work at the Player’s Golf & Event Center Fundraiser (36115 Plymouth Rd, in Livonia) on Sun., May 26 through Wed., May 29. Volunteers are needed during the following times: 7PM-2AM on Sunday, 11AM-6:30PM on Monday, & Tuesday and 7PM-2AM on Wednesday. If you can volunteer, even for a few hours, please sign up on the hall bulletin board or call the office. No experience needed. We must have 3 volunteers per shift. YOUTH Mini Minyan: Children up to 5 years old are welcome to join our Mini
Minyan in the infant/toddler room with weekly programming, at 10:15AM, led by Sarah Mizrahi.
Youth Groups: Children in 1st-6th grades will have weekly davening and fun in the social hall starting at 9:30AM. The children will be divided into multiple groups & play will be led & organized by teenage youth leaders and our new youth director, Sarah Shaw.
Teens: Teen minyan (for 7th grade & up) will be held this week at 9:20AM in the board room. Kiddush will be at 11AM. This minyan is supervised by Rabbi Asher Nemes who can be contacted at [email protected] for questions about volunteering or kiddush sponsorships. The next teen minyan will meet on May 4 & 18, at 9:20AM.
