The Sunday Mass times have been modified to allow for cleaning public areas of the church between Masses, and an early Mass has been added on Sunday to allow for greater distribution of people in the church.
Please follow these general provisions:• If you or anyone in your household is sick in any way or is at higher
risk of contracting COVID-19, we respectfully ask you to please stay at home until you or that person is able to return to the church.
• Pay attention to signage in the church.• Use hand sanitizer prior to entering the church. Hand sanitizer can
be found at each entrance.• Family households are asked to maintain physical distancing of
6 feet from other households/individuals --- while entering and exiting the church,- while in the pews in church/overflow spaces,- while in line for Communion, Confession, and restrooms.
• Until further notice, Communion will be distributed in the hand.• Collection baskets will not be passed from pew to pew during Mass.

CATHEDRAL ANNOUNCEMENTSMemorial Day is Monday, May 25. There will be only one Mass at 9:00 AM. We will have confessions from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The parish office will be closed. We pray that you have a safe and blessed Memorial Day.
Use of Incense: Incense will be used at the 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM and noon Masses on Sunday, May 31 (Pentecost). If you have a sensitivity to incense, please know that you may be seated in the side chapel or gathering space during those Masses.
Missalettes and hymnals have been temporarily removed from the church pews. We encourage you to bring your own liturgical aids (such as the Magnificat or The Word Among Us) to Mass or to download our parish app which contains the Mass readings. COMMUNITY NEWSSt. Mary’s Cemetery Memorial Day Collection – The annual collection to help raise funds for St. Mary’s Cemetery will take place the week of May 24, 2020. In the mail you will be receiving information about the cemetery and this annual collection. With donations received from last year’s collection, development began on a new section of the cemetery, and it is hoped that the project will be completed this fall. Please consider donating to the cemetery to help maintain this beautiful and prayerful place for our loved ones.
St. Mary’s Cemetery Service of Remembrance that was scheduled for May 27, 2020, has been cancelled due to the ongoing health crisis.
St. Mary’s Cemetery Memorial Day Clean Up: The rules at the cemetery state all things placed on graves - except three days before and one week after Memorial Day - must be in a vase attached to the headstone base or to the headstone itself. This includes solar lights, etc. All items that do not meet this criteria will be removed on Tuesday, June 2.
